Hi, I’m Tina, a US-based graphic designer with a love for the colorful, absurd, and macabre. Originally from Serbia, I bring a global perspective to everything I create, built from years of international exploration and collaboration.

I specialize in hand and machine embroidery, as well as illustration, graphics, and board game design. My work ranges from apparel and packaging to tabletop projects, always with a playful and slightly unconventional touch.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design in my hometown of Niš and have continued working in this field ever since moving to the US in 2022. I focus on clear, bold designs, whether stitched, printed, or digital, and enjoy creating work that stands out while engaging viewers.

Who am I?

I’m a fabric artist and graphic designer originally from Serbia. After graduating from the University of Niš, I traveled the world freelancing and refining my craft. Since moving to the United States, I’ve worked in the apparel industry, where I bring my embroidery expertise to life on clothing. In the past six months, I’ve also been focusing on illustration and board game design, expanding my creative practice into new directions.

In my free time, I’m passionate about creating hand embroidered art that’s visually striking and deeply personal, shaped by my diverse experiences along the way.

What do I specialize in?

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and previously spent two years at Guerrilla Graphix in Albuquerque as the in-house graphic designer and embroidery specialist. There, I oversaw the entire embroidery production process, from digitizing to production, while honing both my technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills.

I bring extensive expertise in printed media, particularly screen printing. From preparing films and handling the darkroom process from reclaiming, coating and burning screens, I’ve overseen the full pre-press workflow. Beyond that, I’ve prepared files for digital printing and worked closely with vendors to ensure high-quality results across a wide range of printed materials.

Style and Philosophy

As a multi-disciplinary graphic designer, I use color theory, typography, and bold graphics to craft designs that are both harmonious and impactful. I focus on how colors and type evoke emotion, while strong visuals add energy and emphasis.

My philosophy centers on clean, crisp lines and posterized shading that ensure clarity and easy translation into vector form. Drawing from a European tradition of minimalist communication, I strive for designs that are direct and uncluttered—but never cold. Instead, I bring a playful edge that keeps my work approachable and full of character.

Designing Through Stitch

Digital embroidery is the most durable and premium method of garment decoration, offering long-lasting vibrancy and a textured, high-quality finish. With advanced digitizing skills, I can turn any design into precise stitch patterns (nothing is impossible with the right skillset and tools). Working in Hatch also allows me to create personal projects and small-batch orders with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Hand embroidery offers a unique way to blend tradition with innovation. It’s a hands-on meticulous process that allows me to transform simple threads into something both tactile and expressive. The craft has long been a means of preserving cultural stories and symbols, where each stitch carries deep meaning. I’m drawn to the precision required for every stitch, how each one builds upon the last to create something both intricate and intentional. It’s a medium that lets me slow down, focus, and create art with both skill and purpose.

I’ve always used social media either to share art or stay in touch with friends and family around the world after traveling to over 40 countries and moving across continents. But with feeds now dominated by ads and sponsored content, it no longer feels like the right space for me. I’m leaving my accounts up, but I won’t be posting new content. Instead, I’ve created a private page to share photos and updates from my personal life with anyone who’s still interested. You can request the password by contacting me (or take a guess)
